Some information to help make the event go as smoothly as possible. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
Special songs
We are happy to learn a special song for you, sometimes two, if time allows. It might be your 'first dance' song if a wedding or birthday, making the moment really special for you. If you
would like us to do this, please give us at least two months notice before the event.
Sets
Our typical playing time is 2 hours over 2 (or even 3) sets, although this can be increased or decreased depending on your requirements. Both sets include up tempo numbers, but our second set includes more groovy/disco numbers for a party atmosphere.
PA Music
When not playing, we can provide music over the PA or from your own Ipod choice. We also have full lighting rigs. Please ask us about this.
Power
Please make sure there is an adequate power supply to the venue. If the venue is a marquee or temporary structure please ensure power has been provided.
Access
Please let us know of parking and access issues to the venue in advance and when to load/unload our equipment. Equipment is very heavy and knowing that we will have to lift it up stairs or across distances will be very useful.
Playing area
We are a five piece band, so we can accommodate smaller venues, however, having adequate space allows us to put on the best possible show. We usually require at least 5 metres width and 3 metres depth as a stage space.
Sound-check
We require at least 1.5 hours to set up and check our equipment. It is best if this is done before your guests arrive.
